Realme 3 Pro – Is this the Redmi Note 7 Pro Killer?
Xiaomi has recently launched the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India offering some amazing specifications and it has been crowned as the Budget King of 2019. But now Realme has launched the Realme 3 Pro in India, which by all means is a tough competitor to the Redmi note 7 Pro.

Looks and Display:
Realme 3 Pro comes with a Gradient Finish but it is having a Plastic back instead of more premium Glass which is present in it’s Redmi counterpart. But that being said, the colorful reflecting gradient back looks nice and also it eliminates an extra layer of safety while using which is needed in Glass back Phones.
Coming to the display, it has a 6.3 Inch Full HD+ Display with a Waterdrop Notch just like it’s predecessor, the Realme 2 Pro. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection.
Performance:
Talking about Performance, the Realme 3 Pro comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SOC. Adreno 616 handles the GPU. Realme also says that it has Hyperboost to enhance the Gaming Experience.

When it comes to Software, it comes with Color OS 6 based on Android Pie and this Version of Color OS is also said to be having a App Drawer.
Cameras:
Cameras was one of the highlights of the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme also doesn’t stand back here. Realme 3 Pro has a primary 16 Megapixel Camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 5 Megapixel secondary camera for Depth Information. Another 25 Megapixel camera is present in the Notch for selfies.
Realme also says that you can shoot 64 Megapixel images using the camera where the software takes multiple pictures and combines it. Slow Motion recording support is there upto 960fps at 720p which sounds amazing especially for this budget.
Battery:
The 3 Pro comes with a 4045 mAh battery and it supports VOOC 3 Fast charging and the charger comes with the box itself. But it doesn’t have a USB C port instead it has a traditional Micro USB port.
Price & Thoughts:
Realme has launched the 3 Pro for a starting Price of Rs.13,999 for the 4/64 GB Variant and Rs.16,999 for the 6/128 GB Variant. Overall at the same price of the Note 7 Pro, Realme has offered a strong competitor which can stand toe to toe in almost all scenarios. Overall it comes down to the Build and UI preferences and also Camera is something that needs to be looked for!
